Lisa Connock

Lisa has dedicated her career of more than 30 years to the reporting of the latest technological advances and challenges facing the sulphur, sulphuric acid, nitrogen, syngas and fertilizer industries. She was appointed technical editor of Nitrogen, Sulphur and phosphorus & Potassium (now part of Fertilizer International) magazines in 1992 and is currently technical editor of Sulphur and Nitrogen+Syngas magazines. She is one of the cofounders of BCI formed in 2007. She is an active member of the advisory committee for the CRU Sulphur + Sulphuric Acid and Nitrogen + Syngas conferences and regular attends and chairs at these events as well as attending other key industry events..

Simon Inglethorpe

Simon has been editor of Fertilizer International magazine since 2015, having joined BCI from Haymarket Media Group, where he was business editor at The ENDS Report, the UK’s leading publication for environmental professionals. A frequent participant on the conference circuit, he regularly chairs sessions at leading international events for CRU Group, the International Fertilizer Association (IFA) and others. A geology graduate, Simon previously enjoyed a successful scientific career with the British Geological Survey, working extensively in Africa, Asia, Central America, Europe and the Middle East. He is currently a council member of the International Fertiliser Society (IFS).

Richard Hands

Richard has a background as a research chemist. He has been the Editor of Nitrogen+Syngas magazine since 1995, and of Sulphur magazine since 2007. During his many years in the chemical industry he has been a speaker and moderator at industry conferences, as well as a member of the steering committee of the SOGAT sour gas conference, and also participated in the BBC’s Elements series on Sulphur. In 2007 he became one of the co-founders of BCInsight Ltd.
